Children start to arrive. Parents leave when their child is settled. During this time children engage in child-initiated play across the different areas of learning supported by adults. Children also have the opportunity to suggest activities (Early Years Foundation Stage).

Tidy up time and register.

Snack (wash hands) – children come to the snack table when they are ready. A designated adult ensures all children have their snacks.
